WELCOME GUESTS

We are so excited that you will be visiting our beautiful venue for an upcoming event.  We hope that the following information will bode helpful during the event.  If you should have any additional questions please read through the FAQ page or feel free to email us using the "contact us" section below.

Parking

Our parking area is a gravel lot that can hold up to 120 cars.  We also have 5 Handicap Accessible spots on the west side of the barn with a ramp to the facility.  A parking attendant will be in the lot- please follow their guidance.  Parking is only allowed in designated areas.  If you will have an oversized vehicle please make arrangements with the couples Day of Coordinator to allow ample space for everyone.

Ceremony Sites

While visiting our outdoor ceremony sites for the wedding you will encounter many natural elements.  The sites have gravel, mulch, grass, uneven ground and maybe even some wildlife.  For our fashionistas- you may consider bringing shoes you are able to walk in and changing after the ceremony.

Restrooms

Our restrooms are temperature controlled.  A handicap accessible stall and a baby changing station are available in both the Men's & Women's restrooms.  There are no restrooms located at any of the outdoor ceremony sites.

Weather

We all know Indiana weather can be tricky. Our outdoor sites are open to the elements, so you may think about bringing a small hand fan for those hot days or a jacket/coat for the cold ones. There may be a chance that the original plan for the ceremony will need to be moved inside.  If this is the case, after the ceremony our wonderful staff will be moving tables and chairs and will be decorating for the reception.  Please allow room for them to work.

Shuttle

The Barn provides two- 6 seater golf carts for transportation to and from the outdoor ceremony sites starting an hour before the ceremony.  Please note that these are also used to take the wedding party and couple to the site so rides for guests will be very limited around 15 minutes prior to the wedding.  We encourage you to make your way to the ceremony site directly upon arrival.

Smoking/Vaping

There are designates areas around The Barn where you may smoke/vape, please utilize these areas and clean up after yourself.  The Barn is able to be opened up on 3 sides, please refrain from smoking on the porches near these areas as the smoke may travel into the gathering space and be uncomfortable for other guests.

Grounds

In keeping a natural surrounding at the barn, we have hills, uneven ground, and gravel.  There are working farms around the venue so dust, crops, and wildlife may be encountered during your visit.

Arriving Late?

We understand that things happen when traveling.  If you happen to be arriving after the ceremony processional has started, we kindly ask that you hang back and wait until it is finished before entering the ceremony area so as to not disturb the couple's entrances.

Alcohol

The Barn has their own liquor license.  The couple will choose what kind of bar they would like to have available (if any) and all the alcohol must be provided by The Barn.  As with any restaurant or bar, ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is permitted.  If found, the items will be confiscated and you may be asked to leave. Please have your valid ID available.

Lighting

In order to keep ambient lighting minimal, there is no overhead lighting in the parking area.  Please use caution when making your way to the lot after dark.  You may want to use your phone flashlight as additional lighting.
